There are meals you eat for sustenance, and then there are meals where the table is the course.

People talk about “a seat at the table” but what happens when you design the table? When the tablescape itself is an act of care? I come from a lineage where tables weren’t just functional. They were ritualistic and sacred. The overflow wasn’t accidental; it was a signal that you were welcome and you were worth the effort of beauty.

This tablescape is explosive, towering, a little - a lot- dramatic. It’s a reminder that beauty doesn’t need permission. It can take up space. It can spill over. It can sit between the forks and hold its own.
